Tennis, darts & cue sports
Tennis and darts produce long runs of small price movements, and an exchange records each one as a running market. This section describes how markets on individual sports are put together.
Darts and snooker sit with tennis at the core; golf, table tennis, badminton and padel widen the field, and curling and chess are the odd ones out. In golf each-way terms matter, with place terms set per event by each operator and quoted from the market.
No law in Britain lists which markets may be offered. Licences are granted by category, real events for instance, and what is offered inside the category follows the operator’s own rules; hence one sport can be framed unlike at a bookmaker and on an exchange.
