Rugby, cricket & Gaelic
Rugby, cricket and Gaelic games are priced very differently from one another, and an exchange shows those differences plainly as back and lay prices. This section follows the games across the British Isles.
Union and league rugby are priced through handicaps and margins of victory, cricket through innings and match markets, and hurling, Gaelic football and netball round out the group.
Geography matters for the law. The Gambling Act 2005 and a Gambling Commission licence cover England, Scotland and Wales; Northern Ireland is outside the Act, so a Great Britain licence says nothing about betting there, which counts especially for Gaelic games.
